Abstract: We first establish Strichartz estimates for the 4th order Schrodinger operator on the circle, via a lattice counting argument. Next we apply these estimates to show that the quintic 4th order Schrodinger equation on the circle is global well-posed on any non-negative L2-based Sobolev space. We also achieve the polynomial growth of higher Sobolev norms of solutions just constructed.
